Bright N Clean Services Terms and Conditions

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU PROCEED TO BOOKING. THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE, FROM TIME TO TIME IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION.

1. All the clients who book our services are bound by our Terms & Conditions. It is the customer’s responsibility to check our list of inclusions and terms & conditions when you book our service.

2. 100% satisfaction cleaning guarantee: for end of lease cleaning, we will clean the best we can to make your bond money back 100%. We offer one-time free reclean if required, valid for 7 days after the cleaning is completed. If the issue or complaint occurs after 7 days of cleaning completed, BNCS is not responsible.

3. If your agent or landlord is not happy with our final cleaning result: We always want the job done perfectly at the first time, but if this happens, you need to notify us as soon as possible, we will reclean with no extra charge within 7 days. Please note we only make 1 visit to the property to fix all issues. All issues must be addressed prior to commence the reclean. Minimum charges will apply if we need to re-attend the property.

4. Quote: Clients must provide information as accurate as possible when requesting a quote, if you fail to do this, you agree to pay an extra fee if you insist on cleaning that area or other cleaning request that is not at the end of lease tasks. We only do the cleaning that is included in the End of Lease tasks checklist and quote, if you request for additional service, you must request in advance and extra fee will apply.

5. Our fee: Full payment must be made latest after the cleaning is completed. The payment can be made by cash or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). *Please send the screenshot of transfer to our team*

6. Booking deposit: A $100 booking deposit is required by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). If no cancellation or reschedule, $100 will be credited to your final bill.  *Please send us the screenshot of transfer*

7. Cancellations: $100 deposit will be taken.

8. Reschedule: any reschedule less than 48 hours; $50 rescheduling fee will apply.

9. Parking: as our service takes several hours to complete, parking must be provided for jobs located in the CBD or everywhere else if necessary. If we need to find our own parking, you agree to pay $15 extra parking fee on top of the quote. If we can find the nearest free street parking to your property, no extra charge will apply.

10. Dirty properties: for extremely dirty property, we void the 100% satisfaction guarantee. If we find that your place is considered extremely dirty property, we will discuss with you for an extra cost and make a deal on the day with our cleaner. If you decide to cancel the job on the day then a $100 deposit will be taken for our visited time and our fuel. If we are unable to contact you during this time, we will postpone the cleaning and a $100 deposit will be taken and it’s non-refundable.

11. Properties must be vacant: normal end of lease cleaning happens in an empty property with no big rubbish left behind. For unfurnished property, if you left big rubbish such as unwanted furniture, unwanted appliances, unwanted kitchen stuff (pots, plates, mugs, glass, etc), or any other unwanted items, you agree to pay an extra $50 for rubbish disposal. You must notify us if you want to dispose of these items and let us know where to throw them. Place to dispose of the rubbish is the client ‘s responsibility to provide. If you failed to notify us, we will not touch or move your belongings. For furnished property, we do not move any furniture, appliances or your personal belongings, we only clean the surrounding area. If you move the furniture after cleaning then we are not responsible to come back for re-clean.

12. Furnished property: general dusting (top part only) is included in the quote. However, if you require to wipe or remove stains on the furniture from top to bottom and inside the furniture, you need to request in advance, any stains that cannot get removed by general wiping/dusting are considered stubborn stains and require deep clean, extra fee will apply. Please note we do not do steam couch cleaning.

13. If you are still moving out: when the cleaners get there and you are still moving out or you or other people are still in the property, the cleaners will wait outside until you finish the whole moving or any activity due to safety regulations and privacy. This waiting period will occur and you agree to pay $40/hour on top of the quote as a cleaner waiting fee. You cannot stay in the property while we do the cleaning due to our safety regulation and privacy. If you decide to cancel the job due to our T&Cs, a $100 deposit will be taken for our visited time and fuel.

14. No power/electricity/hot water: You must ensure there is electricity and hot water running in your property to enable us to perform according to our standard. If you fail to do this, you agree to pay a $50 penalty and we have the right to cancel the job when it’s not possible to perform the job according to our standards.

15. Scuff Marks: We do not scrub scuff marks from doors, skirting boards, walls and other timber surfaces as the painted surface can be damaged by doing so.

16. Broken/Loose/Damaged: If during cleaning we come across any windows, cupboards, blinds, light fittings, carpets, door handles or anything else, broken/damaged, loose with missing screws or rotten, then BNCS do not take any responsibility if something comes off or falls down when cleaning. It is the customer’s duty to advise us prior to the job if there is anything of such nature.

17. Mold/stain: We will attempt to clean and remove all mould/stain the best we can. However, BNCS could not guarantee to successfully remove all mould/stain if it has been penetrated to the silicon or grout or any surfaces.

18. Oven cleaning: We do not dismantle (remove glass, etc.) ovens. We only clean what is accessible. If the oven has not been cleaned on a regular basis, then it is not possible to remove all the carbon & grime and achieve 100% cleaning results. However, we will do our best to clean your oven.

19. Keys: Extra Charges will apply for collection & dropping off of the keys. Please check with our team for the fee.

20. Access: We will not clean any place which is hard to reach or dangerous to touch. We don’t pull out the heavy items from their place like bed frame, mattress, fridge, oven, dishwasher, etc. We only clean the surroundings that are visible and accessible.

21. Steam carpet cleaning: we will attempt to steam clean the best we can. However, BNCS could not guarantee to restore the condition of the carpet as new. Many factors might affect the final results such as how you have maintained the carpet, how old and dirty the carpets are, and what causes the stains on the carpet, some stains can be permanent. BNCS only attempts to steam clean carpets just once on the cleaning day, if you require to steam clean the carpet again, you need to make another booking and extra charge will apply.

22. Pet Hair: BNCS carpet cleaning do not guarantee 100% removal of pet hair. If the carpet does not get vacuum regularly then the hair gets penetrated into carpet fibres which can be very hard to remove.

23. No Lift: If you require steam carpet cleaning, you need to notify us if the access to your property used stairs. Extra $30-$60 fee will apply (depends what level you live) as cost to lift the steam carpet machine to your property. If you fail to do this, you agree to pay a $60 fee to lift the machine to your property.

24. Behaviour: If the customer is rude or aggressive towards our staff members or if the house is extremely grubby and we believe that we cannot bring it back to the agent’s satisfaction level or back it up with our 100% satisfaction guarantee then BNCS reserves all the right to walk away from the job and $100 deposit will be taken for visited time and fuel.

25. Discoloured: We only use standard cleaning chemicals designed by Australian standards to clean kitchens and bathrooms. If you have baked food and splashes and grime and grease in your kitchen around the knobs, oven and stove tops then you might notice some imperfections after cleaning which you might not have noticed before. BNCS does not take any responsibility for discoloration or anything that might appear as imperfect after cleaning.
